திருக்கோவில் உட்சன்னிதியில் வீற்றிருக்கும் பிரமாண்டமான உற்சவர் திருவுருவம். தங்க ஆபரணங்கள், தாமரை மாலைகள், வைர ஹாரம் மற்றும் தங்க கிரீடத்துடன் திருவிழாக் காலங்களில் தேஜோமயமாக காட்சியளிக்கிறார்.

Located in Sowdarpatti under the Thirumangalam Taluk of Madurai District, this sacred temple serves as the presiding deity shrine for Sowdarpatti and six surrounding villages.
The temple is home to Arulmigu Sri Badra Kaliamman — a living, ever-present deity of the Kali Yuga — whose blessings have protected and guided devotees across generations. This is an ancient temple of great antiquity, having undergone renovation and restoration works across many eras, and continues to stand today in its full glory.
From the times of the kings, Arulmigu Sri Badra Kaliamman has been revered as the kula deivam — the family deity — of over a thousand families across the region, bestowing her grace as both the ancestral guardian and the beloved personal deity of all who seek her.
மதுரை திருமங்கலம் தாலுகாவில் அமைந்துள்ள சௌடார்பட்டி மற்றும் சுற்றியுள்ள ஆறு கிராமங்களுக்கு பாத்தியதைப்பட்ட இந்த திருத்தலம், கண்கண்ட கலியுக தெய்வமான அருள்மிகு ஸ்ரீ பத்ர காளியம்மன் அருளாசியுடன் உறையும் புனித தலமாகும்.
இக்கோவில் மிகவும் பழமையான, தொன்மையான கோவிலாகும். பல்வேறு காலங்களில் திருப்பணிகள் செய்யப்பட்டு, இன்றும் சிறப்புடன் விளங்குகிறது.
மன்னர்கள் காலத்திலிருந்தே குலதெய்வமாக போற்றப்பட்டு வரும் அருள்மிகு ஸ்ரீ பத்ர காளியம்மன், ஆயிரத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட குடும்பங்களுக்கு குலதெய்வமாகவும், இஷ்ட தெய்வமாகவும் அருள் புரிந்து வருகின்றார்.
Under the leadership of Thiru V.R.Venkatramanan, the dilapidated stone mandapam was completely demolished and a magnificent new mandapam was constructed. After centuries, the first grand Kumbabhishekam was celebrated.
தலைவர் திரு. V.R. வேங்கட்ரமனன் மற்றும் அன்பர்களின் முயற்சியால் பழைய மண்டபம் அகற்றி மண்டபம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டு, பல நூற்றாண்டுகளுக்கு பிறகு முதல் கும்பாபிஷேகம் நடைபெற்றது.
The front mandapam was constructed and several renovation works were undertaken. The second Kumbabhishekam was celebrated grandly in the Nandana year (2012).
முன்மண்டபம் எழுப்பப்பட்டும் பல்வேறு திருப்பணிகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு நந்தன (2012) ஆண்டு இரண்டாவது கும்பாபிஷேகம் விமர்சையாக நடைபெற்றது.
The foundation for the grand Maha Mandapam was laid in Hevilambi year (2017). The 2nd Chandi Yagam and Anna Danam were conducted. The Maha Mandapam and roof were completed and the 3rd Chandi Yagam celebrated in Subhakiruthu year (2022), with the first ever Mulaippari Vizha and Paal Kuda Vizha.
மிகப்பெரிய மகாமண்டப பணியை துவக்கி ஸ்திரமான அஸ்திவாரம் ஹேவிளம்பி 2017 ஆண்டு போடப்பட்டது. இரண்டாம் சண்டி யாகம் மற்றும் அன்னதானம் நடைபெற்றது. சுபகிருது 2022 வருடம் மூன்றாம் சண்டி யாகம், முதல் முறையாக முளைப்பாரி விழா, பால்குட விழா நடந்தது.
On Subhakiruthu Margazhi 1 (3.2.2023), divine command was received to create a vigraham. Stone from near Salem was carved at Tiruchirappalli into a magnificent 8-armed Vishnu-Durga form (Swayambu Arulmigu Badra Kaliamman) with Simha Vahanam, Panchayudham, Trishulam and Amuta Kalasam. The grand Nutana Ashtabandha Maha Kumbabhishekam was performed on 21.02.2024, with 30 Sivachariyars and scholars from temples across Tamil Nadu.
சுபகிருது வருடம் மை 20 (3.2.2023) வெள்ளி அன்று விக்கிரகம் செய்ய உத்தரவு கிடைக்கப்பெற்றது. சேலம் மாநகர் அருகில் இருந்து சிவலை வடிக்க கல் எடுத்து, திருச்சிராப்பள்ளி கருமண்டபம் சிற்பக்கூடத்தில் எட்டு கைகள், சிம்ம வாகனம், மகா விஷ்ணுவின் பஞ்ச ஆயுதங்கள், திரிசூலம் தாங்கி நின்ற கோலத்தில் திருவடி காட்டி, அமுத கலசம், அபயஹஸ்தம்வுடன் பிரமாண்ட விக்கிரகம் செய்யப்பட்டது. 21.02.2024 புதன்கிழமை நாள் நூதன, அஷ்டபந்தன மகா கும்பாபிஷேகம் 30 சிவாச்சாரியார்கள் மற்றும் தமிழ்நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள கோவில்களின் அர்ச்சகர்கள் வருகையுடன் அமோகமாக நடந்தது.
